An estimated 55% of aircraft incidents happen off airport property. Regardless of whether such incidents occur on or off airport property, on-airport fire departments are often not the only ones responding. Multiple agencies and fire departments may be involved and a coordinated, well-established response is necessary. This session will address ways to ensure that the appropriate preparedness has taken place, touching on the many NFPA standards that address this issue and providing with concrete examples.
