This presentation describes an ongoing partnership involving NFPA, emergency responders, government regulators, and the automotive industry to develop and implement a comprehensive training program for emergency response to electric vehicle (EV) incidents. Included in this update will be a review of all current and proposed training programs on this topic as well as recent research that provides the technical basis for training guidance for emergency responders to emergencies involving electric and hybrid vehicles.
