NFPA 99, Health Care Facilities Code, addresses a wide range of topics unique to health care facilities. The 2012 edition of the code presented a major change from an occupancy-based approach to a risk-based approach; the proposed 2015 edition has continued down this path. This session will review that fundamental change as well as the other major technical changes.
