:
Filters to absorb combustible particulates and vapors are used in numerous manufacturing facilities. The clean air from many of these filters is often returned to the building. When a fire or deflagration occurs in the filter/collector, burning particulates and incomplete combustion products are also returned to the workplace. This session describes incidents where this has occurred and offers guidance on how to deal with this hazard.
