This session reviews essential requirements for a high-quality electrical contractor safety program. It examines the important requirements related to implementing an effective safety program and the importance of management buy-in. This session also covers the shared responsibilities of employers and employees on the construction jobsite.
Michael Johnston
is NECA's executive director of standards and safety. Mike achieved a degree in Business Management from University of Phoenix. Mike chairs the NEC Technical Correlating Committee. Johnston manages codes, standards, and safety functions for NECA and is secretary of the NECA Codes and Standards Committee. Mike is a member of the IBEW and a member of IAEI, NFPA, ASSE, the NFPA Electrical Section, the UL Electrical Council, and National Safety Council.
