NFPA 79 provides the requirements that set the standard for electrical equipment on industrial machinery. This session will identify and review the significant changes made for the 2011 edition using a PowerPoint program with photos and illustrations.

Mark Hilbert was the former Chief Electrical Inspector for the State of New Hampshire and is a master electrician. He is a certified Electrical Inspector by the IAEI, past president of the Granite State Chapter and Eastern Section and is the 3rd Vice President on the International Board of Directors. He is a former member of Code Making Panel 4 and currently a principle member and Chair of Code Making Panel 2 and the NFPA 79 Committee. He is an NFPA and IAEI seminar instructor and has taught the NEC nationally and internationally.
