The purpose of this course is to update the practitioner on the diagnosis and management of some of the more common and/or serious mucosal conditions encountered in a modern dental practice. This course is intended to improve the practitioner?s ability to identify, assess, and manage common and at times potentially serious oral mucosal lesions. The importance of correlating the historical and clinical patterns of presentation to create a rational differential diagnosis, along with the indications and limitations of biopsy, will be discussed.
