Health care reform is aimed at reducing health care costs, improving health outcomes, and increasing accountability. A model of dental care based on prevention and disease management is leading to better health outcomes at lower costs. But dental policy and financing/reimbursement has to be better aligned to enable a dental practice business model that can be financially successful in this new environment. This course will share results achieved under this model of care and how reimbursement will change to support it.
