This course will review the national perinatal guidelines as well as local state guidelines including Massachusetts. This review will include exploring the safety of caring for prenatal and young children in terms of medications, dental treatments, and radiographs. The instructor will also discuss strategies for transforming your office to care for perinatal patients based upon the guidelines, including reaching out to medical providers for referrals of young children and prenatal patients.
