In this course, attendees will learn a predictable technique for dental implant provisionalization from an oral surgeon?s perspective. Emphasis will be placed on developing proper emergence profile while supporting peri-implant soft tissues during osseointegration. There will be a review of the pertinent anatomy, as well as a discussion on the specific materials and instrumentation necessary to implement this technique. Clinical photography and video will be used throughout the course to convey principles clearly. Digital impression techniques will also be reviewed. At the conclusion of this course, attendees will have an in-depth understanding of the advantages of screw-retained anterior immediate provisionalization and will be comfortable implementing this technique in their practices.
