The choice of appliance we use in full orthodontic treatment should never dictate the treatment plan we ought to implement as clinicians. This has always been a cardinal rule in dentistry, and must remain so. While removable appliances have their limitations in comprehensive orthodontic treatment, clear aligners - and Invisalign? in particular - have evolved and have become sophisticated enough to apply sound biomechanical principles to execute complex tooth movement not too dissimilar to fixed appliances. By analyzing treated cases of almost every type of malocclusion, the instructor will share his successes and failures that lead to an Invisalign?-only practice where no malocclusion is left untreated with clear aligner therapy.
