Making decisions about which clinical techniques, materials, and devices to use is difficult because of conflicting advertisements and confounded research in literature. This course has been designed to help attendees make decisions about many controversies based on Gordon's interpretation of the international research, ongoing research at Clinicians Report, and his personal observations. Among the topics to be discussed are: conventional crowns versus CAD-CAM; crowns versus onlays; composite versus amalgam: VPS versus polyether; laser versus electrosurgery; mini versus conventional diameter implants; rotary versus reciprocal endo; conservative versus surgical perio; and many others.
