The World Health Organization has predicted that in the 21st century dentists will assume the role of "oral physicians." This course will examine oral soft-tissue pathology including candidiasis, allergies, aphthous ulcerations, and lichen planus. Associated syndromes and management strategies will be reviewed.

›› Learn the extraoral and intraoral signs of systemic disease
›› Prescribe medications which are commonly used to treat dermatologic conditions for use on intraoral lesions
