Dentists are challenged to diagnose and manage mucosal lesions which may represent oral components of cutaneous disease. Disorders such as lichen planus, aphthous ulceration, and viral lesions frequently have associated cutaneous manifestations. This presentation will cover conditions of the sunexposed skin and their oral counterparts.
