Many times it is difficult to determine the etiology of a patient's pain. Is it of periodontal or endodontic origin or could there be another cause? The course will be problem based. Using examples of patients in all age groups presenting with acute and chronic dental pain, we will explore the diagnosis, etiology, prognosis, and treatment of periodontal and endodontic problems. Many of the treatments have been observed for as long as thirty years, and we are able to show long-term follow up results.
