This course will build upon functional occlusion from a foundational perspective that starts in the temporomandibular joint. Dysfunctional occlusion will be explained by understanding abnormal joint mechanics. Emphasis will be placed on diagnosis, treatment timing, and avoidance of management failures of restorative, orthodontic, and surgical cases.
