The Holistic Health revolution of the1970's was a clarion call to treat the whole person, and not just an organ system.
The Complementary and Alternative Health movement was an attempt to focus that philosophy with different treatment
approaches. Integrative medicine integrates the therapies of alternative medicine with those practiced by mainstream
medical practitioners. Learning to manage populations of people with chronic diseases effectively and less expensively
has become the focus in the new health care initiatives that are arising. In this workshop participants will learn how
to use a combination of hypnotic methods to work with challenging medical patients in a tight time frame, with the
addition of energy medicine, motivational interviewing, rapid induction techniques, as well as utilizing hypnosis in the
awake state.
