Future Focused Therapy

This workshop will review the various forms of hypnotherapy as related to the issue of time focus. Many therapy modalities have focused on the present and the past, attention to the future has been rather minimal. However, future focused therapy can be a powerful strategy to bring about transformational change in a person's behavior and symptoms in the present. Hypnosis can facilitate patients to experience a desirable therapeutic outcome, which is internalized on both a conscious and sub-conscious level. Participants will learn the use of future focused communication, suggestions, and a variety of age progression techniques enhanced by hypnosis.

Participants in this workshop may implement strategies & skills of future focused therapy in their clinical practice. Implementing a future focused approach will broaden the participant's options of therapeutic choices. Moreover, for many patients implementing a future focused strategy may bring about a faster therapeutic change that is long lasting.
