This presentation will examine RTD tea in both North America (specifically the US) and compare it to the rise of the soft drink category in Asia Pacific. Specifically, it will show how RTD tea has evolved across both markets – from the sweet and refreshing soft drink qualities that gave rise to tea as an alternative to carbonates in both markets to the brewed flavors or “tea that tastes more like tea” that capitalizes on increasing consumer demand for healthier beverages
