About the Workshop
This extended hours workshop is designed primarily for graduates of the Stress Reduction Program at the Center for Mindfulness, although everybody in the broader CFM community with experience with MBSR and mindfulness meditation practice is welcome.
Please note that the day begins at an unusual hour, 6:00 AM, so that we can have maximal time to practice and dialogue together as a community, and so that we can remind ourselves of the role of intentionality in supporting our efforts to cultivate mindfulness both formally and informally in our everyday lives with ease and gentleness at any and every hour of the day
The day will consist of periods of silent guided meditations, including the body scan, sitting, walking, mindful yoga, and lovingkindness practice, interspersed with periods of dialogue about our experience and how it relates to the circumstances of our lives, our bodies and minds, and our health.
